the new vessel focuses on offering many social spaces including two large sundecks, one at the bow and one astern

fashioned with a typical mediterranean style, the vessel exudes a sporty look that follows the same lines of the brand’s ’63’ vertigo virtus’. designed to encompass the character of the ‘rivale’, another model of the riva open line, the ‘riva 63′ virtus’ incorporates larger spaces providing a high quality of livability and on board comfort. its sleek profile is emphasized by large arrow-shaped side windows, a specific trademark which has attributed to the success of other riva models, offering a good flow of natural lighting onto the deck below. focusing on offering communal areas throughout, the spacious exterior features two large sundecks, one located at the bow and one astern situated above the garage where the tender is parked. the intention to enhance the social aspects of using the boat is extended into the helm area where the driving seat is a three-seater sofa, giving owners the chance to share the pleasure of driving the yacht with guests. this section is protected by a large windshield with a double curve that gives boaters comfort while cruising on the water.

the cockpit offers three sofas enhancing the social aspects of using the vessel

the cockpit is generous in size, and is equipped with a fridge, sink and grill in addition to three sofas – one L-shaped on the port hand side, one astern and a third with a system which slides, enabling one to move closer to the varnished teak table inset that has a flip-up section. this open section, can be shaded by an electro-hydraulically operated bimini which can be left up while the yacht is running. the electric winches are concealed to maintain an particular aesthetic fluidity. this is carried through with the interior fittings which have been styled to attain the best availability of space and comfort, as seen by the implementation of a large wooden table  which can seat up to six people without reducing the size of the boat’s galley. constructed from a contrast of materials – lighter shades of oak in combination with darker leather tones, the unusual features of the hull and teak of the deck and part of the cockpit, together with the many details in stainless steel, contribute to making the ‘riva 63’ virtus’ both modern and sporty while still encompassing the traditional elegance of the riva yacht line.
